Understand your project
Your idea becomes our starting point. We discuss your vision and define together what your skateboard should be, from how it will be ridden to its aesthetic.

Design your skateboard
Shape, dimensions, concave, wheelbase, wood species, construction and finishes: every detail is tailored to the project. You approve the choices before production begins.

Build your skateboard
Your skateboard takes shape in the workshop, from selecting the wood to the final finishing touches. Every step is carried out with care, with a focus on craftsmanship and the finishing details that make all the difference.

Custom work at Merlin is not simply about personalizing a skateboard, but about designing and crafting a piece that reflects who you are.
Design integrated into the piece
Marquetry, wood inlays, veneers or laser engraving: we favour techniques that integrate your project directly into the skateboard.
Custom design
Start with an existing shape or create your own. Shape, dimensions, wood species and finishes are tailored to your project.
Full in-house manufacturing
From design to finishing touches, every step is carried out in our workshop. You work directly with the craftsman who designs and makes your skateboard.
Surface-applied design
We don’t create designs simply applied to the surface. An image, logo or pattern must be integrated into the design of the piece.
Standardized customization
We favour shapes handcrafted throughout the manufacturing process. Every skateboard passes through the hands of the shaper.
Outsourced manufacturing
At Merlin, no stage of the manufacturing process is outsourced. Every board is made entirely in our own workshop.
