How are Merlin Skateboards decks made?

Each board is handcrafted in our workshop in south-west France. Pressing, cutting, sanding and finishing are carried out with the same level of care to ensure consistent quality.

Are the decks designed to be ridden?

Yes. All Merlin Skateboards decks, including marquetry creations, are designed to be ridden. Whether you choose to ride them daily, display them as decorative pieces, or give them both lives is entirely up to you.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Merlin Skateboards ships its creations throughout France and internationally. Each board is carefully prepared and protected before shipping to ensure it reaches you in the best possible condition.

Can I create a fully custom board?

Yes. We design fully custom skateboards, surfskates, cruisers and mini cruisers. Shape, dimensions, wood species or finishes: each board is handcrafted in our workshop to match your vision.

The Big Fish 27.3" is a hybrid cruiser designed for riders looking for a responsive, comfortable and versatile board. Its generous deck provides good stability underfoot while maintaining a compact size that is enjoyable for everyday commuting.

Its small nose and medium concave provide greater control and grip, while maintaining the maneuverability needed to enjoy curves and a more playful style of skating. The Big Fish is equally at home cruising or simply having fun on the board.

Its Canadian maple construction is complemented by a Pavone design finish ply, giving the deck a unique graphic identity.

Handcrafted in the Merlin Skateboards workshop, this deck combines traditional craftsmanship, character and the pleasure of riding.
