How are Merlin Skateboards decks made?

Each board is handcrafted in our workshop in south-west France. Pressing, cutting, sanding and finishing are carried out with the same level of care to ensure consistent quality.

Are the decks designed to be ridden?

Yes. All Merlin Skateboards decks, including marquetry creations, are designed to be ridden. Whether you choose to ride them daily, display them as decorative pieces, or give them both lives is entirely up to you.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Merlin Skateboards ships its creations throughout France and internationally. Each board is carefully prepared and protected before shipping to ensure it reaches you in the best possible condition.

Can I create a fully custom board?

Yes. We design fully custom skateboards, surfskates, cruisers and mini cruisers. Shape, dimensions, wood species or finishes: each board is handcrafted in our workshop to match your vision.

The New Wave 9.0" model is a generous and well-balanced skateboard deck, designed for riders looking for stability, control and freedom in the curves. Its shape provides a comfortable and responsive platform, particularly suited to bowl, ramps and a more committed approach to skateboarding.

This creation is part of a series of two boards made using contemporary marquetry in the Merlin Skateboards workshop. The pattern was created using a cutting process that allows the elements removed from the first composition to be reused to create its complementary design. The two boards therefore feature a mirrored design, while each retaining its own composition and identity.

Designed to be ridden, this creation can also be chosen as a display piece, either on its own or paired with its complementary board.
