How are Merlin Skateboards decks made?

Each board is handcrafted in our workshop in south-west France. Pressing, cutting, sanding and finishing are carried out with the same level of care to ensure consistent quality.

Are the decks designed to be ridden?

Yes. All Merlin Skateboards decks, including marquetry creations, are designed to be ridden. Whether you choose to ride them daily, display them as decorative pieces, or give them both lives is entirely up to you.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Merlin Skateboards ships its creations throughout France and internationally. Each board is carefully prepared and protected before shipping to ensure it reaches you in the best possible condition.

Can I create a fully custom board?

Yes. We design fully custom skateboards, surfskates, cruisers and mini cruisers. Shape, dimensions, wood species or finishes: each board is handcrafted in our workshop to match your vision.

The Classico surfskate is a deck that offers a balance between stability and responsiveness, for a smooth and natural ride, whether carving or enjoying a more relaxed glide.

This version is part of a series of two decks, made in contemporary marquetry in the Merlin Skateboards workshop. Both Classico decks feature the same pattern, reversed and mirrored from one deck to the other. This second version therefore presents the complementary composition of the first, while retaining its own character.

Designed for riders, this creation can also be chosen as a display piece, either on its own or paired with its complementary deck.
