Necklaces and bracelets
An original series of necklaces and bracelets made in France from recycled skateboards.

MERLIN SKATEBOARDS NECKLACES
Each necklace in this collection is crafted from a piece of board, taken directly from the Merlin Skateboards workshop's production waste. These pieces of Canadian maple, usually reserved for skateboards, are now small, graphic pieces, handcrafted in France.
Rather than being discarded, the material is valued. Each scrap is sorted, cut, sanded, and carefully worked to reveal the richness of the laminated wood: colored layers, curves, textures... The visible layers, fruits of the skateboard's very construction, become the main motif. No gluing, no added paint: the design is already in the wood. It is the board, in its most raw and sincere form, that gives the jewel its strength.
The necklaces don't follow a fixed pattern. Each piece is unique, designed based on the original shape of the waterfall. Some are geometric, others more organic. The finishes are meticulous, the edges rounded, the surfaces soft to the touch. The result: a lightweight, original, discreet yet expressive piece of jewelry, which can be worn daily or given as a unique gift.
Made entirely by hand in the workshop, these necklaces embody a local, artisanal vision of the accessory. Here, there's no production line, no standardization: just precise gestures, a careful eye for the material, and the desire to create from what could have been thrown away. It's another way of seeing recycling, not as a constraint, but as a creative starting point.
Through these jewels, the skateboard becomes something else: a memory of movement, a material with character, an object to wear. Each necklace bears the trace of a workshop, a gesture, and a material diverted from its initial use, but never deprived of its identity.
